Join us for our retreat, hosted by Yarbrough Consulting. Are you curious about what you can do to help your community in reaching racial equity? Do you desire to have the conversation about race but are not sure that you're knowledgeable enough to have that discussion? Are you overwhelmed with all of the division and hate and do you want to know how you can play a part in dissolving the hate towards people that are targeted? Do you want to engage in conversations about social/racial justice but are not quit sure that you're equipped to handle that conversation? If you answered YES to any of these questions, this training is for you! Learn how to step up and step in to do what's right and be that change for the future. Learn about your own personal biases, systemic racism, and how to be an effective ally. We are creating a safe space where you can share, reflect, and act. You won't want to miss this 3-day retreat which will be held at Snow Mountain Ranch, in Grandby CO. WEEKEND AGENDA: Facilitated discussions: How to engage in a conversation on racism (within the home and out in the community) Recognizing and understanding your own microaggressions and biases How to stay positive in the current climate (self care) How to speak up for the underrepresented population in your community and lead the stand against complicity What are the steps to eliminate racism and how to make a change? (Legislation, Voting, etc) Fee: The cost is $1,550. This includes all food, overnight stay, activities and facilitated sessions for the entire weekend. Once payment has been made we will send you the details for the retreat, address for the cabin, and prerequisite work. Please note ****If the retreat needs to be postponed, you will receive a full refund or credit towards the next retreat.
